Amazing Grace Day Camps (AGDCs) are a partnership between the Southern Ohio Synod, HopeWood Outdoors, individuals and local congregations. Together, the day camps provide an excellent resource for outreach, especially in communities where there is little summer programming for children, many of whom have no church affiliation. This will most likely be the best (and often only) opportunity for them to hear the message of Jesus.

I am pleased to be a part of this ministry by representing the Bishop on the AGDC Task Force. As a former camp counselor and as a congregational youth director I personally know the benefits of a week of summer camp for both young people and the congregation.
