Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction is a sacred practice that involves a compassionate and prayerful listener (Spiritual Director) accompanying an individual on their spiritual journey. The Spiritual Director serves as a supportive presence, helping the directee to experience, discern, and trust the movements of God in their life. Rather than providing directives, the spiritual director facilitates a process of sacred listening, enabling the directee to recognize and follow the path toward which the Holy Spirit is guiding them.

The Coordinator for the Southern Ohio Synod Spiritual Direction Ministry is Pr. Kris Santiago. She has provided some resources for those interested in Spiritual Direction to explore as they discern where to begin.
