St. John’s, Piqua, has amazing response to Thrive!

Jim Reedy, the Thrive! Campaign Congregation Leader for St. John’s, Piqua, reported their incredibly generous members made commitments of $10,490 to Thrive! during their Commitment Sunday service on October 17th. Jim will be following up with church members who were not able to be present for worship, so the total is likely to grow a bit more. “It went better than I thought!” he wrote, surprisedly.

It seems every congregation completing a Thrive! Campaign so far has been surprised by the overflowing generosity of their members who became excited when they learned about the goals of Thrive! and how all funds raised for the campaign will be used to offer support and training for congregations of our synod. Could that be why we now have over $760,000 in commitments to Thrive!?
