Christmas Greetings from Bp. Suzanne Darcy Dillahunt
No matter what is going on in the world, December 25th will come and Christians across the world will celebrate Jesus’ birth. Merry Christmas!
“And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of the Father’s only son, full of grace and truth”. (John 1:14)
During worship, we hear in Scripture, hymns, and carols that Jesus Christ is born and that we shouldn’t be afraid because Good News of Great Joy has arrived. Jesus, God incarnate, dwells among us.
May Jesus, the joy, excitement, peace, and love of Christmas be proclaimed, shared, invited into, and lived everyday in your lives, in your congregations, and in your ministries.
Merry Christmas from the Southern Ohio Synod Office. We are holding each of you in prayer as you proclaim this Good News of Great Joy during this season.
