Position – Contemporary Worship Director
Hours – – Part-Time Hourly, up to 10 Hours per week
• Vacation – per personnel guidelines
• Continuing Education– if approved in the annual budget, and if available funding, the Contemporary Music Director shall submit a request to the Support Committee for reimbursement up to $100 annually for expenses incurred in attending an approved church music conference, institute or workshops.
• Illness – per personnel guidelines
Position Description
All Saints is seeking a Contemporary Worship Director. This person will serve under the supervision of the Director of Worship and Music and have the following duties and responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Music Director: Responsible for the planning, organization, implementation and evaluation of contemporary worship music; working with the pastors, director of music and worship, music team, and planning teams and committees (as needed) to coordinate worship services; serving as leader of worship music at services; and, recruiting, training and rehearsing all music teams to continuously improve the quality of musical performance.
• Creative Ministry Director: Responsible for connecting and promoting vision and values to worship experience, including outreach/branding.
• Collaborate with the Technology Director on the various audio/visual systems related to The Gathering/Parish Hall.
Budget Responsibilities
Submit annual request for the budget line for Contemporary Worship Content, Programs & Personnel, and Worship Supplies. Monitor expenses of said line as approved in the annual budget.
Program
• Meet on a regular basis with the pastors, director of music and worship, and music team to plan for coordinated, cohesive and inspirational contemporary worship services.
• Coordinate with pastors and staff on use of the facility and equipment for groups within and outside the church.
• Maintain a master schedule for the contemporary worship experience.
• Select appropriate music for both the music teams and the congregation.
• Maintain rosters and contact information and open communication lines with all ministry team members, music team members, and pastors.
• Share regular communications through e-mails, phone calls, newsletter articles and web postings.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed to maintain the quality, continual improvement, and effective functioning of the team approach to ministry which is a core value at All Saints.
Creative Ministry
• Meet regularly with the worship committee to connect the congregation’s vision and values to the worship experience.
• Motivate, coordinate, and lead creative worship development
Program Development
• Develop program goals and strategic plan goals to help All Saints fulfill its Mission and Vision.
• Network with other worship and music leaders in the Central Ohio area to access new and creative ideas for worship.
• Audition, select and place new volunteers into appropriate roles on the worship team.

• Effective leadership, organizational, and motivational skillset.
• College degree or in pursuit of same, or experience equivalent.
