Lutheran Outdoor Ministries in Ohio (LOMO)

The LOMO (Lutheran Outdoor Ministries in Ohio) Registrar is responsible for managing all registration processes. The Registrar needs effective relationship and communication skills to assist people in registering for retreats, summer youth and family camps, summer congregation day camps, and with schools for environmental educations. Responsibilities include data base management, fiscal management, and administration. Character traits needed include being well organized, helpful, self-motivated, flexible with great attention to detail. A college degree is preferred. The position is approximately 20 hours per week. The employee will work in the Westerville Office.

LOMO is a camp, retreat and environmental education ministry of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America).  LOMO’s mission is to bring people together to experience Christ through natural settings and programs.

We reach out to a broad constituency through diverse and varied programs for all ages in all seasons.  LOMO consists of Camp Luther, Lutheran Memorial Camp and LOMO Outreach. Our ministry focus includes summer camp for families, individuals and congregations; year-round retreats for people of all ages; and environmental education for students.
